Notice to the Market – Takeover of the BR-251/MG and BR-116/MG highway system (Ecovias das Gerais)
ECORODOVIAS INFRAESTRUTURA E LOGÍSTICA S.A. and its direct subsidiary ECORODOVIAS CONCESSÕES E SERVIÇOS S.A. (“ECS”) announce the execution of a Concession Agreement between CONCESSIONÁRIA ECOVIAS DAS GERAIS S.A. and the National Ground Transportation Agency – ANTT, on June 3, 2026, as well as the taking over of the BR-251/MG and BR-116/MG highway system at 12 a.m. on July 3, the date of the beginning of the 30-year concession for the 734.9 km section.
Ecovias das Gerais, located in Minas Gerais, connects the municipalities of Montes Claros and Governador Valadares to the Bahia state border and offers synergies with Ecovias Rio Minas and Ecovias Norte Minas, consolidating strategic long-haul logistics corridors. It is also the main highway connection between the Southeast and Northeast regions of Brazil.
Through Ecovias das Gerais, EcoRodovias consolidates 12 highway concessions, totaling over 5,000 km of highways under its management.
EcoRodovias and ECS reaffirm their commitment to their obligations as publicly held companies and will disclose all and any material information in accordance with the applicable laws in force.
