Notice to the Market – Letter from ARTESP to prepare studies to increase the capacity of the Anchieta-Imigrantes System – Ecovias dos Imigrantes
ECORODOVIAS INFRAESTRUTURA E LOGÍSTICA S.A. (“Company” or “EcoRodovias”), ECORODOVIAS CONCESSÕES E SERVIÇOS S.A. and CONCESSIONÁRIA ECOVIAS DOS IMIGRANTES S.A. (“Ecovias dos Imigrantes” or “Concessionaire”), in connection with Notice to the Market disclosed on January 11, 2024, hereby inform their shareholders and the market that the Concessionaire received on January 29, 2024 the letter from the São Paulo State Transportation Agency (“ARTESP”) regarding the authorization of the State Government of São Paulo, through the Investment Partnership Office (“SPI” or “Concession Authority”), to prepare the necessary studies and projects for the future construction and implementation of a new structure to increase the capacity of the Anchieta-Imigrantes System.
ARTESP requests that the Concessionaire starts the preparation of necessary studies and projects for the future construction and implementation of a new structure for the expansion of the Anchieta-Imigrantes System’s capacity. This expansion aims to create a new connection between the Planalto and Baixada Santista regions.
The Concessionaire will be responsible for the costs of producing all necessary preliminary studies and preparing the functional design and executive project. All costs related to this request will be rebalanced, based on the expenditures made and approved by the Concession Authority, according to the current rules.
The deadline for completing the studies will be 24 months, which could be extended by 12 months. After the completion, the studies and projects will be used as inputs for SPI and ARTESP to assess the feasibility of including the respective construction works in the Concession Agreement of Ecovias dos Imigrantes, in compliance with the legal principles.
EcoRodovias reaffirms its commitment to its obligations as a publicly held company listed on the Novo Mercado segment of B3, and will disclose all and any material information in accordance with applicable laws.
