Notice to the Market – Press release issued by the Investment Partnership Office (SPI) – Ecovias dos Imigrantes
ECORODOVIAS INFRAESTRUTURA E LOGÍSTICA S.A. (“Company” or “EcoRodovias”), ECORODOVIAS CONCESSÕES E SERVIÇOS S.A. and CONCESSIONÁRIA ECOVIAS DOS IMIGRANTES S.A. (“Ecovias dos Imigrantes” or “Concessionaire”) hereby inform their shareholders and the market that they became aware, through a press release issued by the Investment Partnership Office (“SPI” or “Concession Authority”), of a letter sent to the São Paulo State Transportation Agency (“ARTESP”) regarding the authorization given by the São Paulo State Government to start studies to assess the construction of a third lane connecting the Baixada Santista and Planalto regions by Ecovias dos Imigrantes.
According to the release, traffic studies, as well as functional and basic projects will be conducted, which will include the necessary topographic evaluations, as well as geological and hydrogeological studies. Furthermore, environmental impact studies must be conducted and a report submitted for approval by competent authorities. The deadline for completing the studies will be 24 months, which could be extended by 12 months. The Concessionaire will bear the costs for preparing these projects, and the economic and financial rebalancing for carrying out this work will be calculated based on expenses actually incurred and approved by the Concession Authority.
The findings of these studies and projects will serve as the basis for SPI and ARTESP to analyze the feasibility of including the works in the concession agreement with Ecovias dos Imigrantes.
The Concessionaire has not been officially notified of any such authorization until the release of this Notice to the Market.
EcoRodovias reaffirms its commitment to its obligations as a publicly held company listed on the Novo Mercado segment of B3, and will disclose all and any material information in accordance with applicable laws.
